Amy E. Shreves, 49, Known for Her Endless Generosity

Born in Bitburg, Germany on June 4, 1973, she had been a resident of Lorain County for the majority of her life. She had also briefly lived in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Amy was a 1991 graduate of Firelands High School and had completed the cosmetology program at the Lorain County Joint Vocational School. Known for her endless generosity, she was always willing to donate her cosmetology skills to anyone in need.
Possessing a strong faith in God, .Amy was dedicated to her family and her primary mission in life was taking care of their needs. She anxiously awaited spending the holidays with them as well as hosting family cookouts during the warmer weather.
In her free time she enjoyed cooking and baking and was always willing to share her creations with others.
Amy leaves her husband of seventeen years David A. Shreves, along with sons Daniel Taylor-Shreves and Anthony Taylor. Additional survivors include granddaughter Flower Birdie Taylor, father Gordon J. Taylor, mother Carin J. Taylor (nee MacGregor), mother-in-law Linda Shreves, paternal grandmother Helen G. Taylor, sister Kristen L. Koeneke, faithful companion Nicki, aunts Sherry G. Tomshe and Judy Heikkinen, and uncle Jim Heikkinen.
Amy was preceded in death by her infant son James Jimmy Taylor-Shreves in 1996, baby sister Jane Helen Taylor, maternal grandparents Scott and Marge MacGregor, uncle Mick MacGregor, paternal grandfather Gordon D. Taylor, and nephew Taylor Pruchnicki.
Friends may call Friday February 24th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Paul Schreiner, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amherst.
