Leland E. Holloway, 82
Leland E. Holloway, age 82, of Lorain, passed away at Mercy Health Lorain Hospital on the evening of Wednesday August 9, 2023.
Born in Lorain on January 13, 1941 to Earl D. Holloway, Sr. and Lillian J. Holloway (nee McCormick) Leland had been a life-long resident of the city.
He had been employed by the Amber Oaks Restaurant in Sheffield Lake for many years as well as at the Schwartz, Spence, and Boyer Home For Funerals in Lorain.
Leland is survived by his brother Robert A. Holloway of Lorain, and sisters Elizabeth Dawson (Lloyd) of LaVista, Nebraska, Susan Holloway of Owings Mills, Maryland, and Patricia Koepke of Elyria.
In addition to his parents, Leland was preceded in death by brothers Edward and Earl D. Holloway, Jr., as well as sisters Alice M. Bearer, Earleen Durasin, and Doris Johnson.
Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Burial of Leland’s cremated remains will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
