Graciela Arroyo, 64, Loved to Sew, Cook, and Garden

She was surrounded by her loving husband and family members.
Gracie graduated from Southview High School in 1978. She worked for the Lorain Telephone Company for many years. She loved to sew, cook, gardening, and taking care of animals, especially the strays.
She was always energetic and eager to help everyone, especially her brother Tony and his 2 children. When she met Sam, that was it! It was love at first sight! She loved him so very much. Gracie was a ball of fire always doing something. She was admired by many, especially her sister, Marilyn. She could be a bossy boots at times, as attested by Facebook police, but loved by everyone.
Gracie is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Arroyo; stepdaughter, Amanda Arroyo of Lorain; her sister, Marilyn Barlow (John) of Middletown; her brothers, Antonio Garza of Lorain and Jose Garza (Linda) of Alabama; and many other relatives and friends.
Gracie was preceded in death by her father, Eliazar Garza; mother, Cornelia (nee Alicea) Garza; brothers, David Garza, and Eliazar Garza Jr; sister, Sylvia Rivera; nephew, John Barlow; and niece, Jennifer Nowicki.
The family asks for prayers during this very difficult time.
A celebration of life to be announced.
Arrangements are by Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. For expressions of sympathy and further information please see, www.Reidyfuneral.com.
