Risto Nikolov, 59, Loyal Cleveland Cavs Fan

He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, son, uncle, brother, and a loyal Cleveland Cavs fan.
Riste was born June 24, 1964, in Kavadarci, Republic of Macedonia to Petar and Spasijka. He came to the United States in 1998 with his wife Silvana. Together, they worked diligently to establish a beautiful life together. Riste enjoyed volleyball, basketball, gardening, cooking, and various outdoor activities. He was faithful member of St. Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church in Avon. Riste was proud in his homeland and culture. He had special adoration for his cat, Maya.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 29 years Silvana, sister-in-law Biljana, nephew Matei, his mother and father-in-law Slobodan and Trajanka, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends in the here and in Macedonia.
Riste was preceded in death by his parents, brother & sister, and his niece Vesna.
His family will receive friends at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Road., Avon, Ohio 44011, Friday, May 10, 2024, from 4 to 8 PM. Parastas will be at 7 PM. His funeral service will be Saturday at the church at 10 AM. The Very Rev. Father Vasil Manasiev, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
