Mildred M. Bozicevich, 99, Loving, Caring, and Strong Woman
Mildred M. Bozicevich (nee Mateskovich), age 99 of Lorain, passed away during the early morning hours of Tuesday June 25, 2024 at the generations Senior Living Center in Strongsville.Millie was a loving, caring, and strong woman who worked hard as a wife and mother of three children. During her lifetime she held several part-time jobs including serving as Secretary-Treasurer for the Croatian Fraternal Lodge # 136 of Lorain for many years.
She was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township as well as of the former St. Vitus Catholic Church in Lorain.
A member of the American-Croatian Club of Lorain, Millie enjoyed baking, crocheting, gardening, and craftwork in her spare time.
She is survived by sons Richard Bozicevich (Elizabeth) of Elyria and Donald Bozicevich (Christine) of Huron, and daughter Karen Thomas (Dennis) of Chandler, Arizona. Additional survivors include grandchildren Elizabeth, Danielle, Ryan, Kelly, Justin, Jarrod, and Gabrielle, as well as great grandchildren Zachary, Roman, Gavin, Amelia and Alaina.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2010, parents Frank and Katherine (Nee Matotek) Mateskovich, and sister Ann Crnko in 2015.
Upon Millie�s request, there will be no funeral services. Her cremated remains will be placed privately at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
