Rosemary E. Kuznar, 83, Enjoyed Crossword Puzzles

Born in Elyria, Ohio on September 25, 1941, Rosemary was a graduate of Elyria High School where she was a varsity letter recipient as a sprinter on the Pioneer Track Team. She had been a resident of Lorain since 1962.
A parishioner of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, Rosemary dedicated herself to being a full-time wife, mother, and homemaker. During her free time she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles as well as testing her luck on the slot machines at various local casinos.
She is survived by children Michael J. Kuznar Jr. of Columbus, Judy Dostall (Jim) of Oberlin and Melissa Berlingeri (Tony) of Mayfield Heights along with grandchildren Ashley Johnson (Leo), Joseph M. Kuznar (Lyndsey), Brandon J. Kuznar (Keyara), Samantha Dostall, Stephanie Basilius (Ty), Christa Sternad (Nick) and Hannah Berlingeri (fiancée Jaycob Quay); additional survivors include thirteen great grandchildren with an additional one soon to arrive along with her sister Barbara Glover of Lorain.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Kuznar, Sr. in 2022, father Raymond Greco, mother Doris Tomasek, step-father George Tomasek, brothers Donnie and Johnny Tomasek and Raymond Greco, Jr.
Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Additional visitation will take place in the funeral chapel on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of family sharing at 10:30 a.m.Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Craig M. Hovabnec, Pastor of St. Peter Parish officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
