Diane M. Cihak, 82, Loved Her Grandchildren and Cats

She was born April 15, 1942 in Sheffield Township and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Diane graduated from Clearview High School where she was a majorette in the band. She worked for the Lorain County Community Action Agency in dietary at Head Start in Lorain. Prior to that, she worked for Catholic Charities. She loved her grandchildren and cats and enjoyed sitting in her favorite chair and watching old television shows.

She is survived by her children: Keleen Gonzalez (Eric) and Donald Zvosechz; grandchildren: Johnnie, Diana, Kayleigh, Melinda, Angela, Danielle, Jessice, Kimberly and Carlene; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, brother James Szeto and sisters: Sally Montgomery and Gloria Jones. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Ánaleigh Barker, parents James Szeto and Anna (nee Kaspirek) and sister Patricia Hellinger.

The family will receive friends Tuesday January 7, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel. Cremation will follow.
