Rosemary Mager, 71, Proud Mother and Grandmother

She was born August 12, 1953 in Lorain to Joseph & Lillian Mager (nee Cerba). She was a graduate of Clearview High School and the Northern Institute of Cosmetology.
Rosemary dedicated her life as a proud and loving mother to her three children and five grandchildren. She took pride in making a wonderful home and went above and beyond to make every holiday extra special. Her attention to detail, love of decorating and homemade recipes filled the home with many lasting memories and warm, joyous holidays.
She enjoyed gardening, traveling, crafts, kayaking, hiking, sewing and baking, but most of all, camping and sharing her knowledge and experience with her children and grandchildren. She was a girl scout leader for many years and a recipient of the Betty Crocker award. She was especially fond of the Ohio State parks. Rosemary’s love of nature was evident.
She is survived by her former spouse Robert J. Simko, daughter Hillary Duran and Melanie Simko, grandchildren Benjamin Lempner, Lilliana Duran, Elliot Duran, Oliver Duran an Alexa Lencina. She was preceded in death by her son Jeremy Simko and her parents.
The family will be holding a private ceremony.
