Bruno E. Zamiela Meade, 78, Veteran of the US Marine Corps and Air National Guard

He was born August 25, 1946 in Niagara Falls, New York. He was a proud veteran of both the Marine Corps and Air National Guard and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge with the ranking of sergeant.
Bruno retired from the FAA as an environmental engineer after 33 years of service to the US government. As a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, he sang in the church choir. He was a gifted musician and played many instruments. To know Bruno was to love Bruno.
He is survived by his wife Alexandria Sandy Meade, daughters: Susan Wickes (Scottie), Dawn Parker (Jim) and Victoria James (Kevin Duray); 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and sisters: Cathy Zerby and Dorothy Sinnott. He was preceded in death by his grandson Caleb James.
Private family funeral services were held with inurnment at St Joseph Cemetery in Amherst . The Rev Timothy O’Connor, pastor of St Joseph Catholic Church, presided. Military honors were conducted by AMVETS Post #32 of Elyria.
Arrangements were under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain.
