Patricia A. Wagner, 81, Enjoyed Crocheting and Listening to Music

Photo of Patricia A. Wagner Patricia A. "Pati" Wagner (nee Criswell), 81, of Lorain, died Thursday April 3, 2025 at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 12, 1943 in Wheeling, West Virginia and had resided in Lorain most of her life.

Pat worked at Country Pride Grocery and The Candy Store in Avon Lake. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain and was a den mother for Boy Scout Troop 331.

Pat was very meticulous in keeping a clean home. She enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, visiting her friends and reading.

She is survived by her children: Robert R. Wagner Jr (Gloria) of Smithfield, North Carolina, Cindy Wagner of Lorain, Pam Tyler (John) of Carol Stream, Illinois and Scott Wagner of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren: Robert Drew Wagner (Kristen), Allie McCleod (Taylor), Robert Tyler Wagner (Cece), Becky Murphy (Kevin), Jacob Tyler (Brittany), Ciera Wagner, Camryn Wagner, Christy DeToro (Joe) and Jimmy Tyler (Melissa), and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Robert R. Wagner Sr in 2008, grandson Matthew Tyler, parents George & Betty June Criswell (nee Schultz) and sister Sue Huff.

The family will receive friends Wednesday April 9, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Private family funeral services will be held with The Rev. Jimmy Madsen, retired pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, will preside. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
