James D. Feather, Sr., 67, Enjoyed Traveling, Hunting, and Fishing

Photo of James D. Feather, Sr. James D. Feather Sr, 67, of Lorain, died Wednesday June 18, 2025 at University Hospitals St John Medical Center in Westlake after a brief illness.

He was born July 30, 1957 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and was raised in East Freedom, Pennsylvania. He had lived in Lorain since 1988.

Jim served with the US Marine Corps. He worked in construction as a contractor and carpenter. Most recently, he was working as a security guard for PalAmerican at Discount Drug Mart in Lorain. He enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Susan Feather (nee Schubert), sons: Jimbo Feather Jr (fiancé Lindsay Everling), Mark Feather (Angie Nichols) and Steve Feather (Missy) and grandchildren: Zach, Erich, Jacob, Jaden, Dakota, Mason, Ava & Lydia. He was preceded In death by his daughter Natasha Bring, mother Janet Feather and brother Mark Feather.

A celebration of life will be held on his birthday July 30, 2025 at the VFW #1662, 165 Cleveland Ave, Amherst.
