Elizabeth June Loterbaugh, 91

She was the daughter of Arvel and Floretta (nee Raber) Fox, born August 31, 1933, in Maidsville, W. Va. The family moved to Monongah, W. Va where June graduated from Monongah High School in 1952. After high school June moved to Lorain, Ohio with a close friend and ended up making Lorain her lifelong home.

June was very soft spoken, a kind soul, patient, and forgiving. June’s lifelong lesson to her children was to never criticize or judge but to always look at the good in others and offer them grace.

June worked as a bookkeeper for Smith & Gerhart in Lorain and Westinghouse in Cleveland for several years but later devoted her life to being a full-time homemaker.

June enjoyed bowling, golfing, camping, traveling, and visiting her family back home. She especially loved going out to lunch and shopping with her daughters. Later in life June attended many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities.

June was a member of the Amherst American Legion Auxiliary and Great Lakes Church in Lorain.

June is survived by her daughters, Pam (Jim) Bucci of Amherst, Sharon Brill of Amherst, Ronda (Don) Bullins of Elyria, daughter in law Gina Gehrisch of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, sixteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew.

June was proceeded in death by her husband of 50 years Pete who passed in March 2018, a son Ken Demyan who passed in July 2013 at the age of 49, her parents Arvel and Floretta, and her sister Barbara Hartley.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 28th, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will take place in the funeral chapel at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 29th, with Chaplain Zachary Luginbill officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
