Felicia D. Heyer, 91, Enjoyed Playing Bingo and Solving Crossword Puzzles
Felicia D. Heyer (nee Tusko), age 91, formerly of Lorain, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025 at the age of 91.
She was born in Lorain on July 15, 1934 to the late Michael and Stella (nee Kuznar) Tusko.
Felicia had been employed for a number of years by Lorain National Bank. A parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, she was a former member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Drill Team.
In her free time she found relaxation in playing bingo and solving crossword puzzles. A member of the Vermilion Country Club, Felicia was an avid golfer and participated in the women’s golf league there for many years. In addition, she enjoyed watching televised golf every Sunday afternoon.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Rango (Louis) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Deborah Heyer of Lorain, along with son David Heyer (Paula) residing in Huntersville, North Carolina. She also leaves grandchildren Katie Carver, Garrison Heyer and Alyssa Heyer all of Charlotte, Adam Heyer of Elyria and great grandchildren Reese and Luke Carver both of Charlottte. Additional survivors include her sister Virginia Antush of North Ridgeville brother Michael Tusko (Gloria) of Bryan, Ohio, nieces Vicky Simkovich and Kim TuskoWilliams, and nephews Chris and Patrick Tusko and Nick, Jeff and John Antush.
Visitation will be Saturday October 25th from 8:30 a.m. until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Reverend Timothy J. O’Connor, Pastor of the Parish will serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
