Richard M. Wisnieski, 70, Member of the Ohio Operating Engineers Union Local #18
Richard M. “Rick” Wisnieski, 70, of Lorain, died Saturday October 25, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital.He was born March 9, 1935 in Sheffield Lake and had been a lifelong area resident.
Rick was a member of the Ohio Operating Engineers Union Local # 18 and had worked for Premier Asphalt.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Nancy Wisnieski, brother John Wisnieski of Amherst, aunt Margaret Walker of Lorain and cousin Steve Walker (Cindy) of Avon. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold & Dorothy Wisnieski.
The family will receive friends Wednesday October 29, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Rev Edward Smith, pastor of St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, will preside.
