Linda Ann Ashenbach, 81, Loved Her Family Immeasurably

Linda was born in Lorain, Ohio on April 15, 1944 and was a graduate of Lorain St. Mary’s High School.

Linda achieved an Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education from LCCC and became a registered nurse at M.B. Johnson School of Nursing.

Linda is survived by her brother Leonard Drabik, her daughter Kristen residing in Lorain and her son Kevin in Round Lake Heights, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband John Ashenbach, her brother Frank and by her parents Anna (nee Novak) and Frank Drabik.

Linda was a traditional Catholic and her heart was devoted to Jesus Christ. She loved her family immeasurably and cared deeply for her beloved dog Sushi. She was always there for her children and gave everything she had for them to achieve their dreams.

Visitation will be observed on Wednesday November 5th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Linda’s funeral Mass will take place on Thursday November 6th at 10:30 a.m. in the Shrine of St. Elizabeth of Hungary – 9016 Buckeye Road, Cleveland. (Please meet at church). Committal services will take place at 12:45 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery (555 North Ridge Road, Lorain). Those attending are requested to assemble at the cemetery’s main entrance by 12:30 p.m. to join the procession to the grave.
