Daniel F. Popovich, 74, Will Be Dearly Missed

Dan was born on December 2, 1951, in Lorain, Ohio to Anthony and Lillian (nee Hodkey) Popovich.

He is survived by his spouse, Cynthia (nee Carney) Popovich, his children, Sarah Steele (husband Brandon) and Steven Popovich (wife Lisa), and grandchildren Anthony, Katherine and Lucian. He is also survived by his siblings Ruth Popovich, Susan Dineen, and David Popovich. He was preceded by his parents Anthony and Lillian Popovich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Neumann Catholic Church - 9633 East State Route 37, Sunbury, OH 43074 at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 8th.

Visitation will be observed in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel - 3224 Broadway, Lorain on Friday January 9th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of chapel services at 12:00 noon. Reverend Craig Hovanec, Pastor of Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in his memory are encouraged to either the Lorain County Metroparks Adopt-A-Raptor program or any other charity of the donor's choice.
