He was born February 10, 1948 in Lorain to Raymond & Helen Burton (nee Feeley) and was a lifelong resident of Lorain graduating from St Mary High School in 1966.

In a store, restaurant, church, festival or anywhere, he loved having conversations and keeping them going with his folksy charm. A joy of life many strive for came effortlessly to him. His love of faith, family and friends influenced everything he did. He loved being by the water watching ships he used to be on go by and the sunsets. A longtime member of St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Tim could always be found helping with spaghetti dinners, pierogi production, as an usher at mass, scouting and just about anything else.

Tim is survived by his wife of 51 years Carol (nee Yandell), son Shawn (Brenda), daughters Erin and Colleen, and brother Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joan and brother Robert.
