Nicholas C. Redilla Sr., 85, Enjoyed Hunting and Fishing

He was born October 2, 1940 in Bolivar, Pennsylvania to Andrew and Mary Redilla (nee Priestas).

Nick moved to Lorain in 1958 as he became one of the original workers hired at Ford’s newly opened Lorain assembly plant. He retired after 30 years of service.

After moving to Lorain, he met his beloved wife Mary. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, morel hunting and woodworking.

He will be greatly missed by his children Susan Stoffko (Robert) of Palm Coast, Florida, Nicholas Redilla Jr (Christine) of Avon, David Redilla (Laurie) of Amherst and Christina Grochocki-Pakosz (Nicholas) of Avon Lake; sister Barb, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary (nee Shaffer) in 2016, his parents Andrew & Mary Redilla (nee Priestas), brothers: Tom, Joe, Frank, John and Andrew and sisters: Ann, Fran, Millie and Helen.

Funeral services will be private. The Rev Shari Ayers, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, will preside. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
