Frederick R. Price, 81, Enjoyed Making and Wearig Badges

He was born February 4, 1945 in Amherst and had resided in Lorain for over 38 years.

Fred worked at Nordson Corporation in Amherst for over 40 years before retiring. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. Fred enjoyed making and wearing badges for over 39 years, going to flea markets and his plants.

He is survived by his son Duane Price (Rachel) of Lorain, granddaughter Penelope Price, sister Patricia Anderson of Amherst and nephew Terry Anderson of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Arleen J. Price (nee Myers) in 2022, parents Frank & Ester Price (nee Gringle) and brothers Frank and Robert Price.

The family will receive friends Monday March 30, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 31, 2026 at 10:15 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St Joseph Parish, 200 St Joseph Dr, Amherst. The Rev Timothy O’Connor, pastor, will preside. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery at the corner of Pyle South Amherst Road and Middle Ridge Rd in Amherst.
