Jennifer G. Koroski, 74, Known for Her Kindness and Genuine Care of Others

She was born on September 22, 1951, in Buckhannon, WV, to the late Marvin and Edna (nee Rice) Friend, and carried the values of her upbringing with her throughout her life.

She worked for many years as a deli clerk, where she met many wonderful friends along the way. Jennifer was known for her friendly nature, her dependable work ethic, and the ease with which she connected with others. Whether serving customers or sharing conversation with coworkers, Jennifer left a lasting impression through her kindness and genuine care. The friendships she formed during her working years remained an important part of her life, and she valued the companionship and laughter she found in those relationships.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoyed painting in her spare time. She found joy in expressing herself through color and creativity, and her artistic spirit reflected the gentle and thoughtful way she moved through the world. Jennifer also enjoyed bowling, a pastime that brought her enjoyment and gave her opportunities to share good times with others. Jennifer loved to travel and was always eager to try new places, embracing each new experience with curiosity and appreciation. Her sense of adventure added richness to her life and created memories that will be remembered by those who traveled with her or listened to her stories.

Though her passing leaves a deep void, Jennifer’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. The lessons she taught through her example, the laughter she shared, and the love she offered so generously will remain a lasting part of her legacy. Jennifer will be dearly missed and forever remembered with love and gratitude; she was a kind, thoughtful, and courageous woman whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her.

Jennifer will forever be missed by her children, Jim (Michelle) Koroski, Jr, Joe (Shelly) Koroski, and Jill Koroski. She was also a cherished grandmother to Ana, Jordyn, and Nick, as well as two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Koroski, Sr., and her partner, Marty Lucey.
