Photo of MaryBelle Bradley MaryBelle Bradley (nee Hamilton), 87, of Lorain, passed away at her home on Thursday July 9, 2026 after a lengthy illness.

She was born September 26, 1938 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to German and Sarah Hamilton (nee Newsome) and had resided in Lorain most of her life.

Mary worked at Angelica in Lorain as a healthcare linen specialist for 15 years before retiring. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking and making the holidays special for her family. Mary enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters: Debbie Bradley and Cindy Adams (John) all of Lorain; grandchildren: Alex Cieslak (Katie) and Michael Cieslak (Peyton Cooksey); great grandchildren: Colton Cieslak, Mary Kate Cieslak and Wyatt Alexander Cieslak; sister Mindy Faye Hamilton; brother Jonas Hamilton and son-in-law Michael Cieslak. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Alton Bradley, daughter Cheryl Cieslak, great granddaughter Mackenzie Rose Cieslak, parents German and Sarah Hamilton and siblings: Charles Hamilton, Ermel Hamilton, Bessie Howell, Lummy Hamilton, Myrtle Bentley and Sterling Hamilton.

The family will receive friends Monday July 20, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. The Rev Danny Parsons will preside. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
