Linda L. Houck, 60, First Female Commodore of Mohican Sailing Club
Linda L. (nee Coffeen) Houck of Avon Lake died Saturday, August 24, 2002, after a two-year battle with colon cancer. She would have turned 61 on September 11. She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, William Houck, of Avon Lake; two children, daughter Sharon Houck, of Portolla Valley, CA, an son Davis Houck, of Tallahassee, FL; brother Steven Coffeen of Hortonville, WI; and, daughter-in-law, Caroline J. S. Picart, also of Tallahassee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eila Lee and Davis Lincoln Coffeen.

Carl T. Trigilio, age 79, of Lorain and Pine Island Florida, died Friday August 23, 2002 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home in Lorain after an extended illness. Born May 20, 1923 in Lorain, Mr. Trigilio was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a 1941 graduate of Lorain High School, where he won many ribbons for his excellence on the Track and Field Team.

She was born July 3, 1912 in Lakewood and moved to Bay Village in 1962 before moving to Westlake in 1976. Mary was a homemaker and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bay Village where she was a lay-minister and volunteered. She enjoyed playing cards.
