She was an alumnus of the Hunter College, New York and the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Bell was a retired public educator in Hamilton and Montgomery counties. She was the former president of the American Association of University Women in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the Lively Avon Lacer's and the LakeShore Women's Club. She was an avid painter and lover of the arts, music, and enjoyed animals, swimming and the water.
