James A. Judge, 71, of Avon Lake passed away Tuesday, November 26 at the Cleveland Clinic following a nine-month illness. He was born August 21, 1931 in Cleveland and moved to Avon Lake in 1977 coming from Fairview Park. He was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland and served in the Navy Reserve Submarine Division 4-92, Cleveland from 1951-1959. Mr. Judge was employed as a Real Estate Broker for 36 years, retiring from Realty One. He sold new construction for Kopf Construction, Avon Lake. Prior to working as a Realtor he was employed as a meatcutter with the family business, Judge and Brihan Bi-Rite in Cleveland. His family parish was St. Stephen Church in Cleveland and he was a member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake. He enjoyed golfing, water and snow skiing.

Dale F. Cornelius, 83, of Avon Lake passed away Wednesday November 27, 2002 at St. John & West Shore Hospital, Westlake following a one-week illness. He was born July 8, 1919 in Elyria and moved to Avon Lake in 1957 coming from Ann Arbor Michigan. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan and served in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant during World War II. Dale was employed as an engineer for Ford Motor Company for thirty years. He was a member of the Friends of the Avon Lake Library and treasurer for the Lively Avon Lakers. He enjoyed cooking and traveling.
