He was born January 9, 1914 in Masontown, West Virginia and moved to Bath from Sheffield Lake five years ago. He was employed as a coal miner in West Virginia and then worked at Fruehof Trailer in Avon Lake before retiring from Lorain Products 25 years ago. He attended Broadway Assembly, Lorain and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Dale enjoyed hunting and gardening.
