She was born January 4, 1926 in Lakewood, Ohio and moved to Avon Lake from Cleveland in 1959. She was employed as a clerk for Blue Cross Blue Shield and had also worked at the Learwood School in Avon Lake as an assistant cook. Virginia enjoyed singing and dancing, her grandchildren and was "very kind to everyone".
