Vera Griffiths (nee Raybould) - 84, of Avon Lake passed away, Monday, April 28 at St. John and West Shore Hospital, Westlake following a recent illness. She was born November 29, 1918 in County of Wolverhampton, England and immigrated to Lakewood in 1951. She moved to Avon Lake in 1956. She was employed as a housekeeper at the Aquamarine Resort in Avon Lake and enjoyed knitting, ballroom dancing and baseball.
